Whole hog BBQ is the #1 food you have to try in North Carolina according to Food & Wine (and we’d say so too). We’re mighty thankful to be mentioned as a must stop for Whole Hog BBQ along with Sam’s granddaddy’s barbecue spot: the Skylight Inn and Grady's in Dudley. Nowadays there’s a lot more barbecue in our fair state than when Skylight Inn started smokin’ hogs, but it sure is nice to see us get some accolades in the ever-crowded world of NC BBQ.
